About Me

I am a Government Ph.D. student at the University of Texas at Austin. My research examines the political engagement of children of undocumented parents (CUPs), exploring how family socialization and immigration-related experiences shape civic participation and political behavior. Broadly, my research focuses on race, ethnicity, immigration, and political behavior, with a focus on the Latine population in the United States.

My research has been supported by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, Graduate Advance McNair Fellowship, Provost’s Graduate Excellence Fellowship, and the American Political Science Association Diversity Fellowship.
